This time, it's ladies tailoring. A double breasted knee length coat for...let's call her - Lady T. Lady T is my friends mom and I've known her for over half of my life. She has always had a great taste in fashion - timeless, with few quirks. I coveted her shoes when I was in highschool...such awesome shoes!
The coat is ready for it's first fitting. I still have to make another pair of shoulder pads just in case we do not like the soft shoulder idea I have.
Yes, I am using fusible interfacing. No, I don't think it's wrong. I think, if you know what you are doing, the end results will be the same. Plus the fabric was so very very soft (SO SOFT, so dreamy) I decided that it would need some stabilising.
