Let's get organized: DIY Magazine holder

Materials needed:

• Produce boxes
• Glue 

Tools:

• Pencil
• Measuring tape
• Straight edge (a metal ruler would be the best)
• Utility knife  
• Flat strong surface that you don't mind ruining as a cutting board. 

How I did it:

1. I measured my magazines and complemented the magazine box diagram I found HERE
2. I drew the outline of the magazine holder on to the flattened box(on the outer side, using as many box fold lines as the magazine holder fold lines)
3. I cut out the holder following the lines, pressed in needed fold lines and folded the holder together following the steps of this tutorial 
4. You can cover the holder with fabric, pleather or craft paper and etc. Decorate them as you see fit.

DIY gift bag that can be used over and over again.

 For some odd reason I always buy more fabric then I actually need for a sewing project, and have tens of centimeters fabric left over at the end of a project. I almost never throw that scrap fabric out, I store it in a huge ass box for "just in case I will use it for something". Of course I almost never do.

So with Christmas approaching with speed of light I found my self standing at the gift paper/wrapping section in the mall. All those pretty papers with lovely prints and the colorful shiny ribbons, meant to bring a moment of joy on the Christmas morning. Kind of sad that all that beauty will end up in a trashcan after Christmas...So wasteful in my opinion.

And so I decided to make my own gift bags that can be used again as a gift bag or a book bag, or to bring toys for your kids to a play-date. For whatever purpose the person to receive the gift might want to use it.
